To submit photos of active fires, you must use the iPhone or Android Watch Duty app and take the photo in the app -- you cannot submit photos from your photo gallery.

On the top right of your app you will see a camera icon.

Only take photos when you can do so from a safe location, without getting in the way of firefighters and other first responders.

• Type in a description of what you’re looking at and the location. Keep the description short, just the key information.
• Press submit when you’re done.

Your photo will now be reviewed by our reporters, who will decide whether to post it along with the incident.
